Credits 22

I’m not sure what I’m meant to say here. Is this something like that long list of dedications and thank you's you find at the end of some of David’s crappy 70s albums? Alright here goes:

For caring about me. A little too much sometimes, I think. But now your work has taken you far away and I never quite know when you’re coming back – this week, next week? We’ve agreed, though, (haven’t we?) that I’ll have more freedom when you get back this time. No more jealousy. No fights. No more crap about my work versus your work. No more talk of babies. Not for a while at least.

For finding me David. How you found him, I won’t ask. Sometimes I think you’re still more his friend than you are mine. A strictly professional relationship, I’m sure. All talk about African tribal art and nutrition and never a mention of sex. Never mind, soon you’ll have your own baby boy to keep you busy.

For the work. For the laughs. But please no more talk of running away together. I don’t love you. I love David.

For fussing over me – ENDLESSLY!

For this Webcam system. For finding me a friend. Let’s hope we both end up getting what we want out of this.

For being true and blue.

The vibrant, intelligent young woman who is going to use this online friendship to really sort out herself out, work out what’s important – and what’s not.

For coming to see me every day (you will, won’t you?). For watching the Webcam before doing anything else when you come – it’s where the action is. And for reading my emails without getting too annoyed about how much I talk about me, me, ME. What else can I do? I don’t know enough about you – yet.
